Scott Ferber is founding partner of Raj Ferber PLLC, a Washington, D.C.-based boutique law firm specializing in cybersecurity and risk management. He represents clients in a diverse array of sectors, including financial services, healthcare, professional services, IT, retail, manufacturing, and government contracting. Scott has managed responses to hundreds of security incidents, ranging from sophisticated nation-state intrusions and ransomware attacks to business email compromises. Scott spent over ten years at the U.S. Department of Justice where he served as an advisor to the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General on cyber and national security matters; Counsel for Cyber Investigations in DOJ’s National Security Division; and Assistant U.S. Attorney in Atlanta. Scott has tried numerous jury trials and briefed and argued multiple cases before the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He started his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. Scott currently teaches Cybersecurity Crisis Challenges at The George Washington University Law School.
