Josh Hedges has spent nearly two decades in the cyber domain, specializing in uncovering malicious actors and building enduring frameworks to secure systems at scale. During his 14-year career at the National Security Agency, he led teams that received the National Meritorious Unit Citation from the ODNI five times—disrupting extremist attacks through cyber operations, gaining unprecedented insight into nation-state actors, and exposing nation-state hackers targeting critical infrastructure. In the private sector, he led JPMorgan's Cyber Threat Intelligence effort in North America, where he built and scaled a global team securing the world's largest bank. Now at OpenAI, Josh manages the cyber portfolio for the Product Policy team, working with cross function teams to undermine the ability to bad actors to use our services to inflict harm.
