HARRY KREJSA

Director of Studies, Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy & Technology

Harry Krejsa is the Director of Studies at the Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy & Technology and leads its policy-focused think tank from Washington, DC. Harry joined Carnegie Mellon from the White House’s Office of the National Cyber Director where he led development of the 2023 National Cyber Strategy, established national technology security priorities for modern energy and AI-supporting infrastructure, and represented the U.S. government in technology security consultations with foreign partners and the global private sector. A Chinese speaker, Harry previously worked at the intersection of technology, industrial strategy, and U.S.-China military competition for the Department of Defense, including overseeing new offensive cyber authorities and doctrine, novel cyber strategy TTX design, and defense cooperation with Taiwan and other Indo-Pacific partners. Harry also served at the Cyberspace Solarium Commission and the Center for a New American Security, and holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science and East Asian Studies from Grinnell College.
