LISA MONACO

Lisa O. Monaco is the 39th Deputy Attorney General of the United States. As the Deputy Attorney General, she is the Department’s second-ranking official and is responsible for the overall supervision of the Department. She has held various leadership roles, including Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Advisor to the President. A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Chicago Law School, she has served in private practice and taught national security law.
